Schütz præsenterer sine nyeste transportemballager på sit 11. Interpack siden 1975
(in English)
IBC Schütz GmbH & Co. KGaA will be continuing its long tradition with Interpack, the world’s foremost trade fair for the packaging industry, with a stand at this year’s Interpack in Düsseldorf. This is the eleventh time Schütz has exhibited at Interpack since it premièred the first IBC in 1975.
The company from Selters, in the Westerwald region of Germany, has chosen “Schütz: Innovative. Reliable. Sustainable.” as its motto for this year’s Interpack, once again underscoring its role of innovator, and will also be offering the trade public detailed insights into the world of indus-trial packaging and its associated products and services.
Employees from the company’s 30 sites around the world will be on hand at Stand D22 in Hall 10 to introduce potential and existing customers to the latest trends and innovations in IBCs, and PE and steel drums. In the past 50 years, the market for industrial transport packaging has developed dynamically, and Schütz has done much to shape that development over the decades. This year, too, visitors to the fair can look forward to discov-ering an array of product innovations at the Schütz stand, plus insights into many other aspects of industrial packaging designed to help users of Schütz packaging to optimise their entire supply chain both economically and ecologically in the interests of overall sustainability.
Sustainability, on everyone’s lips these days and also the focus of this year’s Interpack, has been an integral part of the Schütz corporate culture for over 50 years, not only with regard to innovation and reliability, but also to all of the services and benefits the company offers its customers. Schütz would like to use Interpack as an opportunity to communicate to existing and potential customers alike the facts and background informa-tion that substantiate its sustainability – past and future. Interpack offers Schütz the ideal platform on which to discuss these issues with visitors and to discover exactly what they would like the company to deliver.
In recent decades, the Schütz group has invested systematically in ma-chinery, installations and new production sites with a view to expanding its network and thus to ensuring a reliable supply of IBCs, drums and ser-vices to its customers throughout the world.
Schütz has made great technological advances, especially at its drum production plants. Being able to offer customers reliability of supply cou-pled with the best technical solutions in PE and steel drums is part of the company’s international strategy. Schütz will be highlighting these types of projects and topics at Interpack, too.
New IBC developments and product solutions include the new IBC MX-EX, for example, which features the first serial use of carbon nanotubes, replacing the tried and trusted valve with earth plate (for the earthing of the filling goods).
Schütz’ invention and continuous further development of the IBC has done much to reduce total supply chain costs and also to bring down carbon emissions.
Visitors to Interpack will have the opportunity to find out how deploying the IBC can result in 50% lower costs across the entire supply chain than other packaging and logistical solutions. This is due in no small part to the Schütz Ticket Service, which provides free collection of used IBCs from the end user and their economically and ecologically useful return for re-cycling. At Interpack, Schütz will highlight the recent relaunch of its return and reconditioning service with an impressive presentation of just how quickly, flexibly and sustainably its IBCs are now collected worldwide.
The company’s international presence guarantees collection of used IBCs from the world’s major industrial regions – even in minimal quantities. Thanks to extensive material recycling, each returned IBC makes a lasting contribution towards reducing carbon emissions per IBC by up to 50%. At Interpack in Düsseldorf, Schütz will be welcoming the opportunity to out-line to its customers where the return of IBCs for reuse can generate synergies.
The Schütz group is very much looking forward to welcoming numerous visitors to its stand, D22, in Hall 10, and taking a close look with them at the topics and trends set to shape the market long term.
